Cutkaar

Privacy

Short version: your videos and projects stay on your computer.

The Cutkaar app

• Your videos, photos, audio and projects are stored on your own computer. Cutkaar does not upload them.
• Cutkaar has no account and no advertising, and it does not collect statistics about how you use it.
• To look for updates, Cutkaar downloads a small file from this website and from GitHub. Like any website, these servers can see your IP address.
• Online captions (optional). If you add your own Groq key and choose the online engine, the speech parts of your audio are sent to Groq to be turned into text. Groq's own privacy policy applies. Without a key, captions are made on your computer.
• The offline speech model is downloaded once from Hugging Face.

This website

• No cookies, no tracking and no analytics. A setting for the language suggestion is kept only in your browser.
• The site is served by Cloudflare Pages; fonts come from Google Fonts.
